Lynn is a member of the Amskapi Pikunii from Two Medicine, Montana. She holds a Master of Public Health in American Indian Public Health and a PhD in Indigenous Health from the University of North Dakota. Her work is rooted in her heritage and lived experience, focusing on improving the wellbeing of Indigenous communities through Indigenous research approaches and the integration of horsemanship.

Erika Mad Plume, LCSW, BSW

Equine Programs Director

Erika is a member of the Amskapi Pikuni from Two Medicine, Montana. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Salish Kootenai College in 2024 and will graduate in 2025 with dual licensure as a LAC and LCSW. Her work is grounded in Indigenous social work and equine-assisted therapy, integrating cultural knowledge and traditional practices to support healing and connection within her community.

Kelsey Mad Plume

Kelsey is a member of the Amskapi Pikuni from Two Medicine, Montana. She is currently in college and hopes to become a veterinarian. She helps care for the health and wellbeing of our horses and has a natural connection with them.

Her work reflects a deep cultural bond with horses, and she is passionate about inspiring youth by sharing their importance within Blackfeet heritage and community.
